COORDINATION MEETING

SInAN has officially been launched with a Coordination Meeting which took place in CES-METU’s premises in Ankara. The meeting brought together the project partners, CES-METU and JMC, University of Cologne, and associate institutions, namely Sabancı University, and six ÖYP universities, in order to identify the key priorities for the course of the project and discuss the time frame of the activities to be organised. The participants’ discussions focused on the following points:

  • The logistics of the Joint Research Workshop to take place in Brussels at TEPSA headquarters,
  • The Ph.D. Schools to be organised during the course of the project,
  • The identification of experts and participants from CES-METU, JMC, University of Cologne, six ÖYP Universities, Sabancı University, and University of Siena for the research teams to be established
  • Particulars of the Work Packages (WP), including the time frame, composition, coordinators of each WP and priority topics for discussion.
  • The time frame and content of elite interviews has been discussed with the leading partner and associates participating in this activity. 

The Reception organized at the end of the Meeting brought together civil society organizations, e.g. Foreign Policy Institute, and prominent figures from the European Commission, Secretariat General for EU Affairs, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
