ELITE SURVEY TRAINING The training on “Conducting Elite Surveys” under Activity 4: A Focus on Elite Perceptions was organised between 12th and 15th March 2009 at the Center for European Studies, Middle East Technical University in Ankara. Members of CES, together with researchers of the associate universities will be conducting in depth elite surveys in the upcoming days in Ankara and the regions of the associated universities, namely Antalya, Edirne, Gaziantep, İstanbul, Samsun, Tokat and Van as well as in İzmir. The training aimed at giving the participants technical and practical information on conducting elite surveys and provided a platform for sharing experiences of the trainers who were well-experienced in conducting surveys at various levels in Turkey and Europe. The training also gave the participants, who are largely expected to conduct or supervise the interviews in their respective regions, the opportunity to go over and discuss the questionnaire. |
